I first heard about the wonderful Ashleigh Nursery School back in 2016 when I was exploring options for my eldest child, who is now almost 9. A good friend of mine recommended Ashleigh and as soon as I stepped through the doors of this beautiful building, I knew it was the place for my baby to thrive. There is something magical within the walls of this incredible nursery. It seems to capture the very essence of what it is to be nurtured and cared for through its homely and warm environment. I was struck by my own feelings of nostalgia and the complete lack of pretence at Ashleigh and I went to great lengths to make sure my daughter could attend the days that were available at the time. 

The atmosphere at Ashleigh is just incredible. I could list so many reasons why our family love this nursery but I think the fact that all three of my children have been lucky enough to attend here speaks volumes. My youngest has just begun his time at Ashleigh and he is being nurtured by the same staff as my older children and this speaks volumes! My older two are delighted to revisit when we pick him up and are able to unlock hundreds of precious memories each time they do.  

Both my older children were prepared brilliantly for the challenges of primary school and took part in Nativity plays each year, which are some of my fondest memories. However, of the best things about their time at Ashleigh is that both of them have made life long friends with whom they still spend a lot of time despite not attending the same schools. I have also built bonds with the staff at Ashleigh and I’ll never forget when I was comforted by Jennifer on “one of those days” when I just needed to cry. 

Ashleigh will forever hold a very special place in all of our hearts. 

I cannot speak highly enough about the Poppy Room at Ashleigh Nursery School. My daughter absolutely adores attending nursery, and she lights up with excitement whenever we tell her it is a nursery day. The staff are incredibly nurturing and friendly, creating such a calm and welcoming environment. As a parent, I always feel completely at ease leaving her in their care, knowing she is in the hands of compassionate professionals.

Having been a past employee at Ashleigh Nursery School before becoming a teacher, I have first-hand experience of the wonderful atmosphere of the nursery. I know the setting inside and out, and I can confidently say that the children are safe and well-cared for here. There are ample opportunities for children to learn in a fun, engaging way and the staff are highly skilled in tailoring their environments and opportunities to suit the needs and interest of the children. The dedication of the staff to the children's well-being and development is truly commendable. I have every confidence that this is a fantastic place for my daughter, Darcie, to start her educational journey, surrounded by people who genuinely care about her growth and happiness. I wholeheartedly recommend Ashleigh Nursery School to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.

My children attending the same nursery that I once went to as a child has been an incredible experience for our family. There is something so special and heartwarming about seeing my children play and learn in the same environment where I made my first friends and discovered the joys of early education. The key worker system at the nursery is another comforting feature that deserves mention. This system has ensured that our boys receive the attention and care they need, making their nursery experience even more enriching and fulfilling and helps us as parents keep up to date with their progress.

In conclusion, having our children attend the same nursery that I did has been a wonderful journey.
